New Google Maps Embed System

Google has released a smoother & faster embedding system:

  1. Open the virtual tour in the new Google Maps system (not Classic Maps)
  2. Turn to the direction, tilt, and zoom that you want displayed
  3. Click the "Settings" button (3 dots)
  4. Click "Share and embed image" (Bild teilen oder einbetten)
  5. Click "Embed image" (Bild einbetten)
  6. Copy the embed code and paste into your website

There are some settings you can change:

  1. width="600" (size of iframe)
  2. height="450" (size of iframe)
  3. !3f209.13998427684993 (direction / yaw, 0 to 360, in degrees)
  4. !4f-21.926646396165495 (tilt / up-down, -90 to 90, in degrees)
  5. !5f0.4000000000000002 (zoom level, smaller number is out, larger is in)
